RECRUITMENT PAYROLL SOLUTIONS

Recruitment businesses may not have the time, expertise or indeed inclination to manage their workers payroll. In addition, the payroll finance requirements of a growing recruitment business are notoriously difficult to manage and the last thing a recruitment specialist wants is their workers being paid late.

Barber French can offer a holistic solution to address all finance concerns, and to allow the business owner, with recruitment at their heart, to focus entirely on their clients and workers.

We provide a complete service for recruitment companies from inception with the right finance deal, giving you the support you need to help you to run your company profitably, and ensuring compliance with legislation throughout.

Inception

We can help you to start your business by holding your hand through the complete set up process.

But additionally in this sector, Barber French has longstanding relationship with several respected invoice factoring providers. We can act as brokers to help you make the right choice of provider to suit your business.

Invoicing and Collections

We raise invoices from weekly timesheets on behalf of our clients using their own company-headed paper. These can be sent to your end clients. Assuming an invoice discounting solution is in place, we will then drawdown the funds for you and make payments to your chosen payroll company.

With your collaboration, we then manage the credit control for your business, ensuring that debtors are managed effectively. We will send statements and reminder letters, chase payments by telephone and as a last resort, take legal action.

Reporting and Compliance

It is key that you are confident that all aspects of your recruitment business are compliant with HMRC and other legislation. We will ensure that all reporting and returns are completed in a timely manner.

We cover:

  • HMRC CIS initial registration,
sub-contractor registration and compliance, monthly returns and statements

  • HMRC Intermediaries reporting

  • HMRC VAT due diligence checks and quarterly returns

We can also advise around worker versus employee status and help you to understand IR35 implications and the changes in 2021.
